There is again no doubt in our minds to the question who was the were the King of the Road: Los Laga Bai and Robert & Su Solo Banda Show. During the big weekend of Aruba’s 54th carnival we showed the Aruban people in San Nicolas and Oranjestad that Los Laga Bai is one of the all time best groups Aruba has ever known. We have participated in Aruba’s carnival for the past 26 years and grew steadily to a solid group with a reliable base of volunteers who work every year to make Los Laga Bai happen. In this short and dificult carnival period, we have shown that this was the key factor in presenting the biggest and best organized group during carnival 54.

We believe we were the Reynan di Ambiente once more no matter whether we take this prize again or not. Our participants and the Aruban public has accepted it and that is what matters.
