Los Laga Bai had its first registration day for Carnival 55 on December 6, 2008. Everybody expected it to be a busy day as it is Carnival 55 and Los Laga Bai has been creating a good reputation for being one of the most animated groups during the parades. However no one expected it to be as hactic as it was on this day. Before 10 o’clock in the morning participants have been agglomerating at Centro Kibrahacha to get a spot in Los Laga Bai.

As we did not expect it to be as hectic as this we had to close the doors and allow only a limited number of participants inside to register. Due to the rush we started to put people on waiting lists very early because we lost track of the total number of registration. As Los Laga Bai had forecasted to go with 450 participants, some people were very dissappointed that they did not get a spot in Carnival 55 with Los Laga Bai.

We tried to take into account the persons who have participated with Los Laga Bai the last 3 to 5 years. However, we could not satisfy everyone. For this we apologize and will try to suit as many persons on the waiting list as possible.
