Aruba celebrated the Lighting Parade on February 14, 2009 on a Valentine’s day. This years Lighting Parade was one of the biggest ever with a total of 13 groups.

As usual Los Laga Bai was group # 1 to start this parade. With a total of around 300 participants Los Laga Bai started slowly while participants got used to the pace. Robert played most of the greatest roadmarch hits of this year including of course our beloved “Los Laga Bai” song. After 2 years this song still makes this group go crazy.

A little more after Talk of the Town, the band trailer lost its front speakers due to technical problems. Technicians were not able to fix the problem during the parade. There was little else we could do and we are glad that all the participants just went behind the band to keep enjoying the music and jumped all the way behind and next to the band trailer till the end. There is no need to say that this problem will be fixed for next week enabling Robert Jeand’or to flex his music muscle again as he is used to do.
