Los Laga Bai Would Like to Say Thank You

Now that this carnival season is over and we are done cleaning up it’s time to sit back and thank all the Los Laga Bai volunteers, personnel, entities, sponsors, band members and anyone else who in some way or another helped us put this big party on the road for the 29th year in a row.

Los Laga Bai is blessed to have a huge group of people who look forward to this time of the year when they contribute to this carnival group. They don’t only contribute but most of them also participate in the group with the best “ambiente” in Aruba. That is why they keep offering their help every year. We are talking here about our registration crew at Centro Kibrahacha, the same people who register all the participants at the beginning of the parades, our technical team who makes sure our bar and band trailer is in good shape for the parades, bartenders both in our main bar and the two small bars in the back, the other volunteers before and during the parade who help prepare the bar for the parade, Romar Trading (Heineken) staff (Ramon Becker, Tirso Tromp) for all the logistics support, photographers for the group, and many more. We would like to thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts.

Also, we would like to thank our Peace Officers who have done a good job keeping our participants safe. The Heineken girls and guys who made sure our participants were well supplied with drinks during all the parades. Piratest Nest staff at Bucuti (Kurt Hoffman and his staff) who put a great BBQ together for all the hungry Los Laga Bai participants Sunday night.

And who can image a Los Laga Bai without: “Hala un banda,…ta Solo Banda!!!” Robert Jeand’or & Solo Banda Show put up a great performance once again during all the parades which helped Los Laga Bai once again take home both “Ambiente” prizes in San Nicolas and Oranjestad.

Ofcourse, all of this would not have been possible without the help and financial support of our loyal parade sponsors: Romar Trading, A-one contractor, and Wema. Specially we would like to mention this year Albo & Arubaanse Wegenbouw for supporting us for 25 years!! We are very grateful for their loyalty.

And last but not least, we must say “Thank You” to all our 400 participants who have celebrated together with us this great carnival season.

The success of this group lies in the synergy that exists between all these various groups of people.
