We would like to announce that this coming Saturday December 8, 2012 Los Laga Bai will start it’s official registration for carnival 59. Therefore we would like to invite all the Los Laga Bai participants and also people who would like to try out the jolliest group in Aruba’s carnival to come and sign in for the coming carnival season.

Registration takes place at Centro Kibrahacha from 10:00AM till 4:00PM. The registration price has remained Awg. 600 per participant. We suggest everybody to come by early so to make sure you get a spot in our group.

This year we are celebrating a musical partnership that started 20 years ago. It was 20 years ago that Robert Jeando’r and members of the organizing committee of Los Laga Bai shook hands for the first time to start a musical partnership that has lasted 20 years so far. In fact, it is more than a partnership since all it takes each year is another handshake to renew this commitment. This is how real gentlemen do business and we are honored and thankful to be able to deal with a real gentleman such as Robert Jeando’r and his crew.

The costume for carnival 59 is a creation of Louise Rafael-Croes using the main colors yellow representing the sun and black as in the musical notes of an amazing composition of Robert. Silver will be used for the decoration of the whole costume. Louise is one of our loyal participants and we are happy to use her creation for this opportunity.
