During the Sunday Grand Parade in Oranjestad, we were informed that Los Laga Bai once again took home the prize for “ambiente” on Saturday during the San Nicolas parade. Everybody was happy about this news but few knew the milestone that Los Laga Bai had just achieved with this prize.

Los Laga Bai had won the “Ambiente” prize on many ocassions in San Nicolas but with this win we had just sealed a 10 year unbeatable streak of Ambiente prize in San Nicolas. No other carnival group had ever achieved this. Not in San Nicolas and not in Oranjestad.

We are proud about this ocassion and would like to thank all our participants for being so jolly especially during the San Nicolas parade. I’m sure that the feeling around the great city of San Nicolas has something to do with this for which we can only say: THANK YOU SAN NICOLAS!!
