Saturday night (Feb 7, 2015) was Aruba’s famous Lighting Parade in Oranjestad. LLB was group # 2 and we showed up with 420 participants to light up the streets of Oranjestad. This makes us the biggest group during this years parade.

We saw many very creative participants in our group who transformed our original design in a beautiful costume. Although we like our participants to maintain our original design as much as possible we appreciate their creativity.

We also got many positive feedback from the fact that we now have a toilet at the back of the group. Specially the female participants we ecstatic about this new feature.

We must apologize for the fact that the band started to play a little late. The band trailer was involved in a little incident with some low hanging cables on its way to the starting point. There was some minor damages to our band trailer and speakers that needed to be taken care of before we could start. However, as usual, once Robert started playing the sweet melodies of this year’s carnival songs the participants enjoyed their parade to the max.
